Guardforce Post

The funeral of the Guardforce staff who was killed in action in the Korat Terminal 21 shootout was held on 13 Feb 2020. Many colleagues attended to show respect to our teammate and express condolences to his family. Representatives of the government and the King also attended. In accordance with traditional customs, the King’s representative sprinkled water then lit a candle, symbolising the highest honour and blessing from the King. We appreciate the government offering the highest form of support in the aftermath of the incident, including arranging special counselling service to Guardforce staff, organising the funeral and looking after our injured staff to ensure they are well taken care of.  Our best wishes to Korat Terminal 21 for returning to peaceful operation, and wish all those injured in the incident a speedy recovery.
